Hi, there! 👋 Welcome to Yiwen Ying’s Homepage.

I am a senior student from the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering in Southern University of Science and Technology. I have built a comprehensive background in robotics and AI under the guidance of Prof. Hong Zhang at the Robotics and Computer Vision Lab, SUSTech, and Prof. Fei Gao at FASTLAB, Zhejiang University.

My research interests focus on learning-based motion planning. I have comprehensive capabilities in full-stack robotics development including perception, planning and control, with expertise in the field of motion planning, SLAM, machine learning, and computer vision. My programming expertise spans Python, C++, and MATLAB.

My personal CV is attached here. My research experience includes a first-authored paper accepted by IEEE ROBIO 2025, which focuses on local planners in dynamic environments; a first-authored paper that I propose to submit to IEEE RAL, which focuses on inverse kinematics for mobile manipulators; a paper submitted to IEEE CVPR 2026, which focuses on higher accuracy of 3d reconstruction system; a national-level project selected by the College Students Training Program for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which focuses on air-ground robot cooperative systems; two school-level projects selected by Guangdong Science and Technology Innovation Strategy Program, which focus on robots in complex environments.
